Communication is Needed by People

Communication is needed by people all over the world. Without communication, people cannot understand each other. Because, communication is a way to make an understanding among people. The term of “communication” comes from Latin, they are “communicare” that means “a same understanding”. Actually, people communicate each other since the first man in the world even our God also made a communication with Jibril, however, communication become a science since. At that time, there was a demonstration of workers in. Then, there was someone who tried to make an understanding between workers and their boss. We can call it a public relation officer. Day by day, they found that activity could be developed to be a science and now it known as communication science.

Nowadays, Communication becomes the popular science because of its subjects which can be related by other sciences. Such as, political communication, cross culture communication, cross religion communication, interpersonal communication, and so on. I would like to talk more about the aspects of communication. There are five aspects of communication; those are communicator, communicant, message, channel, and effect. Communicator is someone who communicates some messages to the others. Every man is a communicator, not only a man with physical perfectly, but also a man with disorder problem. They are called verbal and non-verbal communication later. Furthermore, the communicators have to know their object; the social life, the background, and so on. So, they can communicate each other comfortably. The object of speaking or known as a communicant also has an important part in communication. If the communicant cannot understand what the communicator talks about, it is possible the message of the communicator cannot be sent to the communicant. Or, on the simple way, the communicator and the communicant cannot understand each other that can cause misunderstanding. For example, now we study English, just imagine we have no understanding in English so far. When we meet with the foreigner we cannot understand her/ him. Why? Because, we do not have any understanding in English anymore. It can be an obstacle for us to make a communication with other people. 

Why should English? Or maybe, why should language? Because, language is a tool to make a same understanding in spoken. Why should English? Because as we know, English is a universal language. Learning English is a way to make an understanding with people all over the world. Just imagine, with English maybe 5 years later we can meet in different opportunity and in different country. So, let’s study language hard and seriously in order to get success in our life. But remember that language is only a tool. We also have to study something that worth on us like engineering, education, politics, economics, etc. If we combine our study, maybe it can be our weapon to struggle in this world.
